Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Legal Assistant located in Sarasota, FL. The Legal Assistant will be responsible for various administrative and legal tasks including intake and opening new case files, managing legal documentation, drafting and reviewing documents, providing administrative support to attorneys, and maintaining organized case files. The role requires regular communication with clients and other legal professionals to support case management and resolution.
Qualifications
- Experience in Legal Document Preparation, drafting, and review
- Strong Communication skills for client and team interactions
- Scheduling
- Maintaining deadlines
- Proficiency in Administrative Assistance, including organizing and managing case files
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in personal injury law is a plus
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or related field preferred
- Bilingual spanish speaker is a plus
