About the Position
Christina Turner Accountant LLC is seeking a friendly, dependable, and organized Receptionist / Office Support professional to join our small tax and accounting office.
As the first point of contact for many of our clients, this person plays an important role in creating a welcoming and professional experience. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, stays organized, communicates well, and is willing to help wherever needed.
Because we are a small office, this position involves more than simply answering the phone. You will assist with client paperwork, scheduling, scanning and organizing documents, tax return packets, and a variety of day-to-day office responsibilities.
The position is approximately 25 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, during the off season (May–December). During tax season (January–April), the position increases to approximately 35–40 hours per week, with daytime and/or evening hours based on office needs. Every other Saturday is required during tax season only.
What You'll Do
- Greet clients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Schedule and confirm client appointments
- Manage the office calendar
- Receive client paperwork and documents
- Organize, scan, and upload client documents and receipts
- Assist with assembling completed tax return packets
- Perform basic data entry and maintain accurate records
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail
- Assist with office supplies and general administrative duties
- Keep the reception and client areas clean, organized, and professional
- Provide administrative support to tax preparers and bookkeeping staff
- Assist with other office tasks as needed
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all client, financial, and tax information
During Tax Season
January through April is our busiest time of year. The office moves at a much faster pace, with increased client traffic, phone calls, appointments, document drop-offs, and completed tax returns.
During tax season, this position requires:
- Approximately 35–40 hours per week
- Flexibility for daytime and/or evening scheduling based on office needs
- Availability every other Saturday
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and interruptions
- The ability to remain organized and accurate in a fast-paced environment
- A friendly and professional attitude when working with clients during busy periods

Previous receptionist, administrative, customer service, banking, tax, bookkeeping, or accounting office experience is a plus, but tax or accounting experience is not required.
Work Schedule
Off Season — May through December
Approximately 25 hours per week, Monday through Thursday.
There is no regular Saturday requirement during the off season.
Tax Season — January through April
Approximately 35–40 hours per week. Daytime and/or evening hours may be scheduled based on office needs.
Every other Saturday is required during tax season.
Applicants should be comfortable with the seasonal increase in hours and workload.
Compensation
Hourly pay is commensurate with experience.
