Attorney AI- and Technology-Driven

Job description:

Dracup & Patterson, a California-based law firm, is seeking an AI-driven Business Litigation Attorney with 2 years of experience who actively uses AI tools as part of their legal workflow. This role is ideal for an attorney who is not only comfortable with AI, but excited about leveraging it to improve efficiency, quality, and client outcomes.

We are particularly interested in power users of AI who understand how to responsibly and effectively integrate AI into legal research, drafting, discovery, and case strategy. Bonus if you can help train and guide other attorneys on AI best practices.

What You'll Do

• Draft complaints, motions, and discovery
• Conduct legal research and case analysis (including AI-assisted workflows)
• Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals as part of a team

AI-Focused Responsibilities

• Use AI tools to improve legal drafting and research efficiency
• Develop and refine AI workflows for litigation tasks
• Ensure responsible and ethical use of AI tools
• (Bonus) Help train attorneys and staff on AI best practices

This is a fully remote role.

Minimum Qualifications

• Active membership in the California Bar
• 2 years of experience (business litigation preferred but not required)
• Experience using AI tools in legal workflows
• Ability to manage multiple matters independently

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus)

• Advanced AI user or “power user”
• Experience training others on AI tools
• Experience building AI workflows for legal tasks

Compensation

Highly competitive hourly compensation: $75 per hour, depending on experience.
