What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisor, Community Health Program position at ChristianaCare?

The supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day functioning and coordination of the assigned program(s); this includes supporting clinical providers, clinical duties as assigned, program development, operations, and evaluation; working closely with internal and external partners to facilitate successful program delivery; assuring data is collected required, and that Community Medicine goals are met.
The candidate should have a minimum of two years' experience in community program administration and leadership, along with a proven record of partnering with community and government agencies. In addition, the candidate should have experience leading a team either directly or indirectly.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
A graduate of a recognized Medical Office Assistant Program or Hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)
Two years’ experience in program administration, program leadership or coordination, etc. required
Public speaking, group facilitation and excellent writing skills required
Experience in public health preferred

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft programs
Ability to relate and manage people like and different from self.
Ability to organize and prioritize work assignments.
Ability to facilitate meetings and make community presentations.
Skill in collaborating with community and government agencies.

Hourly Pay Range: $29.22 - $43.83
This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
