ChristianaCare, is looking for an Outpatient Cardiac Sonographer to work full time day in our Middletown Ketley Plaza location.


Shift:

• Full time weekdays and no weekends or call.
  
  
  
  

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

To perform diagnostic echocardiograms in adherence to the American Society of Echo Cardiography and to assist physicians in the diagnosis of cardiac disease.



PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 
  Prefer IV experience to perform contrast and bubble studies.
  
• 
  Performs 2D, M-Mode, CW, PW, and Color Flow Doppler echocardiograms
  
• 
  Demonstrates skills and knowledge necessary to provide quality and quantitative echocardiograms for adult and geriatric populations
  
• 
  Accurately present completed echocardiograms to physicians.
  
• 
  Demonstrate ability to recognize normal and abnormal echocardiograms
  
  
  
  
  

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• 
  Associates Degree preferred.
  
• 
  Certification from ARDMS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, RDCS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (Registered Cardiovascular Technologist, RCVT), or a new graduate of an accredited ultrasound program who meets registry eligibility.
  
• 
  CPR certification

This position pays between $37.38 and $50.90.



This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
