ChristianaCare is looking for a Medical Assistant I for our Medical Advantage Program in Rehoboth Beach, DE.



This practice is located at 18742 Coastal Highway Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971. Medical Advantage Program delivers comprehensive, patient‑centered primary care focused on prevention, wellness, and the management of acute and chronic conditions. Working collaboratively with experienced physicians and nurse practitioners, this role supports high‑quality care across the adult lifespan in a welcoming, community‑based setting.

Duties / Responsibilities:

The Medical Assistant I greets and supports patients virtually and in person, prepares them for visits, performs basic clinical tasks (e.g., testing, injections, EKGs), assists with exams, and maintains exam rooms and equipment. They manage EMR updates, patient communications, referrals, authorizations, and scheduling, while handling clerical duties, troubleshooting video visits, and supporting patient portal access.



Position Qualifications:

• 
  High School Graduate or GED required.
  
• 
  A graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

Hourly Pay Range: $19.10 - $27.69



This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
