ChristianaCare is seeking an Environmental Service Assistant I to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients, staff, and visitors. Schedule:

  Day Shift (7:00PM – 3:30PM)

What You’ll Do:

• 
  Keep patient rooms, offices, and common areas clean and sanitary
  
• 
  Maintain equipment and supply closets in a safe and orderly condition
  
• 
  Support infection control by properly cleaning precaution rooms
  
• 
  Respond to service requests via phone and app promptly
  
• 
  Report maintenance issues and attend training sessions
  
• 
  Uphold safety standards and confidentiality at all times
  
  
  
  
  

What You Bring:

• 
  High school diploma preferred
  
• 
  At least 2 years of customer service experience
  
• 
  Ability to communicate clearly and maintain a helpful attitude
  
• 
  Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift throughout your shift
  
• 
  Comfort using smartphones or PDAs for work assignments

This position has a starting rate of $17.32 per hour, regardless of prior experience. After six months of continuous employment, the hourly rate will automatically increase to $20.34 per hour. After one year of continuous employment, the hourly rate will automatically increase to $21.34 per hour.



This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
