What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse (RN) Winter Temp Program position at Christiana Care Health System?
- 24-Week Option: October 25, 2026 - March 13, 2027
- 12-Week Option: December 6, 2026 - February 27, 2027
- 12-hour day or night shifts
- Choose 48 or 72 hours per pay period
- Work in one assigned unit for the duration of the program
- No floating to other units
- Opportunities across 40 Acute Care units, including:
- Medical
- Surgical
- Progressive Care
- Step-Down
- Transitional Care
- 2 years of recent RN experiencein an acute care hospital setting required
- BLS certificationrequired
- BSN preferred; ADN required
- Epic-prepared and competent in assigned clinical area
- Complete two days of orientation
- Commit to either the 12-week or 24-week program
- Meet weekend and holiday commitment
