Cardiac Critical Care, NP/PA-Nocturnist

ChristianaCareis currently recruiting for a highly motivated and skilled Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work in our expanding Cardiovascular Critical Care Complex (Medical) as a Nocturnist.

Responsibilities in the unit include admitting and managing multiple critically ill patients in collaboration with intensivists, fellows, and residents. The ideal candidate for this position is comfortable working in a high acuity, fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomy. It is preferred that candidate have at least 1 year of critical care experience, but new graduates will be considered. Formal individualized onboarding and orientation will be provided.

Hours will be 7p-7am with flexible scheduling and a generous stipend that will get paid out biweekly.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Physician Assistant must be a graduate of an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program and have NCCPA Certification

• Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification required

• Preferred minimum of 1-year critical care experience, will consider new graduates

• License or license eligible for the State of Delaware

• Prescriptive authority and controlled substance license for state of Delaware

• Federal DEA

• ACLS certification
