The Thrift Store Sales Associate manages the sorting, tagging, pricing, intake, and sale of donated items, maintains a clean and safe working environment, and assists in other departments as needed. The role supports daily store operations, ensures merchandise is displayed attractively, and provides excellent customer service.
The Thrift Store Stocker/Sales Associate Key Responsibilities:
- Sort, price, and stock donated items for sale in a timely and orderly manner
- Assist volunteers and help create a positive, cooperative volunteer experience
- Greet customers, donors, and staff courteously; exhibit professionalism and empathy
- Ensure the store is open and operational during scheduled hours
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store and sorting areas
- Monitor the sales floor for safety, neatness, and potential issues.
- Participate in store events and assist with loading/unloading good
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
