Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance in their daily lives. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety. Caregivers will travel to and work at the clients homes.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Implement and follow individualized care tailored to each client's needs.
- Ensure the rights and dignity of residents are upheld at all times.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Report changes in clients' health or behavior to management.
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by cleaning and upkeep of their homes.
- Support clients with transportation for errands or community involvement.
- Help with med reminders if needed.
Skills
- Familiarity with in home care plans and ability to implement them effectively.
- Experience in home community care or home care settings is preferred.
- Understanding of hospice care principles is a plus.
- Ability to work with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities.
- Cooking skills to prepare nutritious meals for clients when necessary.
- Certification in CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
