Christian Servants Home Care is looking for reliable care staff to help serve children with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Johnson Creek and Watertown areas.
We provide respite care and daily living skills services, offering you the opportunity to make a difference in someone's life by supporting children’s independence and giving essential relief to primary caregivers.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
· Respite Care: Providing assistance, companionship, and comfort. Medication reminders and offering temporary relief for primary caregivers.
· Daily Living Skills: assisting with/or providing reminders for daily living tasks such as feeding, dressing, grooming, bathing, and/or toileting.
EDUCATION, SKILLS, and/or EXPERIENCE
- Additional education or training in human services, special education, or related fields preferred.
- Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively and interact professionally with individuals, families, and team members.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
SCHOOL YEARSCHEDULE: Every other weekend from 10am – 8pm on Saturdays (with potential start time at 6am occasionally) and 10pm to 5pm on Sundays.
SUMMER SCHEDULE: Mon, Tues, every other Fri, Sat, and Sun from 8am – 3pm or 4pm.
Hours vary based on client needs and your availability. Whether you’re looking for as little as 5 hours per week or 10–15 hours per week, we offer the flexibility to build around your schedule and availability!
