Campus Ministry Director - Part Time

We’re looking for a relational, self-motivated leader to serve as a part-time Area Director in the Washington, DC region. This role is ideal for someone passionate about faith-based ministry and building meaningful connections within the healthcare community. This is a 100% support-raised position. The successful candidate will build and maintain a network of ministry partners whose financial contributions fully fund their salary and related expenses. CMDA provides training, resources, and coaching to equip staff in developing and sustaining their support

Key Responsibilities
· Minister to the spiritual, professional and personal needs of healthcare professionals and students
· Work closely with students on medical and dental school and health science campuses within the Washington, DC area. The schools in the Washington, DC area include Georgetown University, George Washington University, Howard University and the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.
· Network with other key partners, churches, organizations, and ministry leaders
· Mobilize the Washington, DC medical community for mission and serving opportunities locally, regionally and globally
· Networking, relationship-building, mobilizing, coordinating with local leadership on fund development, support raising to grow CMDA DC to serve the Greater Washington, DC education, faith-based, healthcare communities and community at large
· Facilitate and manage ongoing administrative, communication and strategic planning tasks of ministry
· Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned and directed by CMDA
· Works closely with a Core Leadership Team in Washington, DC
· Reports directly to the Northeast Regional Director and works within National CMDA structures
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications
· Profession and testimony of Christian faith and exemplary Christian witness
· Proven ministry experience, minimum of 3 years of previous ministry experience
· General competencies and confidence using and leveraging technology
· Exceptional people skills as well as written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
· Master level theology or ministry degree (completed or in-process)
· Previous parachurch, campus or church ministry experience
