PRN or On-Call Employees are hired on in an "as needed" status with no permanent work schedule. These employees are primarily used to for vacation coverage, staffing shortages and assistance with staff call-ins when and if they're available. They have the opportunity to train with multiple homes in their area to get more hours and get first opportunity for any permanent positions as they become available!
What You'll Do:
- Provide Personalized Support – Assist individuals with daily living activities such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and personal care as needed.
- Promote Independence – Encourage and support individuals in achieving their personal goals while fostering self-sufficiency.
- Engage in the Community – Accompany and assist individuals in community activities, appointments, and social outings.
- Advocate for Individuals – Ensure individuals’ rights, choices, and dignity are respected and upheld.
- Be a Role Model – Demonstrate patience, compassion, and encouragement in all interactions.
