What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community & Home-Based Direct Support Professional position at Christian Home Services?

Direct Support Professionals are committed to advocating for and supporting our consumer’s goals while maintaining a safe and positive environment for them. We work alongside individuals with mental, behavioral and/or physical limitations in their own homes and in the community.
CHS Employees specialize in coaching our consumers various life skills to help them gain or maintain their independence. This may include assisting and/or encouraging with daily activities such as housekeeping, cooking, community involvement, etc.
Multiple Part-Time openings with frequent opportunities for advancement to Full-Time- applicants should be available to work alternating weekends. Pay increases to $17.25 at 6 months of service!
Need some flexibility? We are hiring On-Call/PRN) Employees! These employees are hired on in an "as needed" status with no permanent work schedule. They are primarily used to for vacation coverage, staffing shortages and assistance with staff call-ins when and if they're available. These staff have the opportunity to train with multiple homes in their area to get more hours and get first opportunity for any permanent positions as they become available!
