Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of dispatchers to ensure efficient scheduling and communication with technicians and customers.
- Scheduling Oversight: Manage daily schedules for HVAC and plumbing service technicians, ensuring optimal productivity and minimal downtime.
- Customer Service Excellence: Address escalated customer issues promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for dispatch operations, providing feedback and implementing improvements as needed.
- Coordination: Collaborate with technicians, sales teams, and other departments to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Problem Solving: Resolve scheduling conflicts, handle last-minute changes, and adapt quickly to unexpected challenges.
- System Management: Maintain and update dispatching software and ensure accurate record-keeping for all service calls and schedules.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a dispatch or supervisory role, preferably in the home services industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with dispatching software and systems.
- Knowledge of HVAC and plumbing terminology is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
