This is a full-time role with general hours of 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Employees in this role are eligible for the Christian Family Solutions full benefits package, which includes:

The Mental Health Support Specialist facilitates psycho-educational skills groups for children and adolescents admitted into our program. You will also provide general client care, de-escalation services, and support the clinical services team. We aim to foster a positive and nurturing environment aligned with our Christian values.

At Christian Family Solutions, you have the opportunity to work with a well-trained and equipped staff who are able to safely navigate their way through the mental health field. You will receive on the job training to ensure that you too, are well trained and equipped for this position. Christian Family Solutions will also provide training in the process of applying clinical treatment within a biblical worldview, regular in-service or continuing education opportunities, as well as regular supervision and consultation.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, and preferably in a field related to mental health.
- Previous experience working with children and/or adolescents with severe emotional/behavioral disorders (minimum of 1 year required).
- Strong desire for youth mental health advocacy.
- Active member of a WELS or ELS or confessional Lutheran church preferred. Willingness to support and uphold the mission of Christian Family Solutions in the clinical setting required.
- Team player with effective written and verbal communication skills to lead groups and work alongside the STRONG treatment team.
- Competency in cross- or multi-cultural settings required.
- CPI (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention) certified after hire.
