What You’ll Do
As a Family Finder Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of our mission—working alongside Youth Advocates to uncover meaningful connections in a child’s life and explore pathways to permanency. Your role will include:
- Family Finding & Recruitment (70%)
- Use innovative tools and national databases to identify potential adoptive families, mentors, and extended support networks.
- Serve as the first point of contact for families interested in adoption, guiding them through the process with compassion and clarity.
- Coordinate and facilitate quarterly “Meet & Greet” events across Arizona.
- Maintain youth profiles on adoption platforms and manage the family inquiry database.
- Program Support & Compliance (30%)
- Evaluate and enhance electronic case management systems (extendedReach).
- Collaborate with Business Intelligence and leadership to ensure data accuracy and program efficiency.
- Support families in accessing training for at-risk youth and perform internal audits for compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related Child Welfare field
- 1 years of experience in Child Specific Recruitment or working with youth in foster care
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and case management systems
- Strong communication, empathy, integrity, and administrative skills
- Willingness to travel 15–25% across Arizona
