This full-time, on-site role for a Prison Chaplain/Re-Entry Liaison is based in Carlisle, PA. The position involves providing spiritual guidance, counseling, and support to incarcerated individuals while assisting them in their transition back into the community. Responsibilities include facilitating faith-based programs, collaborating with justice and social service partners, creating re-entry plans, and connecting individuals with appropriate community resources. - Experience in spiritual counseling, pastoral care, and leading faith-based programs
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to design and implement individualized re-entry plans
- Interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and maintain relationships with incarcerated individuals, their families, and community partners
- Familiarity with re-entry support systems, justice programs, and local community resources
- Empathy, compassion, and understanding of challenges faced by individuals involved in the justice system
- Bachelor's degree in Theology, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
