POSITION OVERVIEW: 

 

The Digital Marketing Specialist is a member of the Ministry Advancement department within the Marketing Team, working to expand ICM's online presence, strengthen audience engagement, and increase regular and recurring giving.

With a full-funnel approach to digital marketing, this role leverages analytics, digital strategy, paid media, platform management and content creation to guide audiences from awareness to donor commitment. The Digital Marketing Specialist uses data-driven insights to optimize performance across digital channels while supporting content development, campaign execution, and online engagement.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Digital Platform Management & Content Development: (50%)

• Manage ICM's presence across social media and other digital platforms, including content publishing, audience engagement, and platform best practices.

• Create, edit, and repurpose content for social media, advertising and other digital marketing initiatives.

• Monitor platform trends and emerging opportunities to strengthen digital reach, engagement, and campaign performance.

 

 Digital Advertising & Campaign Management: (30%)

• Support, execute, and optimize digital advertising campaigns across Meta Ads Manager, Google Ad Grant, Google Ads, and other platforms.

• Manage audience targeting, budget allocation, performance monitoring, and campaign optimization.

• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to maximize campaign effectiveness and return on investment.

 

 Digital Media Performance & Optimization: (20%)

• Monitor and analyze performance across website, social media, paid advertising, and other digital channels.

• Develop reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights, trends, and recommendations.

• Identify opportunities to improve audience growth, engagement, conversion, and overall digital performance.

 

This position may involve both domestic and international travel up to 25% per calendar year.

 

B. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This is a largely sedentary role that occasionally requires standing, walking, and the ability to lift and/or move objects up to 20 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds on occasion (e.g., printed proofs, signage, or display materials).

 

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

• A follower of Jesus Christ with a servant heart for missions and nurturing believers.

• Passion for the Word of God and provision of the Word for every people group.

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.

• 3 years of experience in digital marketing, communications, public relations, advertising, or a related field.

• Experience analyzing digital performance data and translating insights into actionable recommendations.

• Proficiency with digital marketing platforms and analytics tools, including Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, HootSuite or similar platforms.

• Experience supporting and optimizing paid digital advertising campaigns.

• Strong copywriting, content development, and communication skills with the ability to create compelling, mission-aligned messaging.

• Knowledge of social media platforms, digital marketing best practices, audience development, and online engagement strategies.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as an effective member of a team.

• Flexibility with the ability to work well under pressure and consistently meet deadlines. Strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
