- Accurately teach and preach the Word of God in an engaging way.
- Develop, train, disciple and equip individuals with the Word of God and through Life-on-Life connections.
We are prayerfully seeking a full-time Senior Pastor to preach the Word of God and shepherd the Body of Christ.
Qualifications
- Possess a BS/BA degree in Biblical Studies of Master of Divinity from an accredited evangelical seminary.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of ministry experience, preferably in a church setting.
- Have a vision and calling to serve in a multi-cultural, -ethnic, and -generational congregation.
- Have the courage to drive change as God leads.
- Have the right to work in the United States.
- Administer the sacraments.
- Lead and minister through the overflow of his abiding relationship with the Lord. (Jeremiah 3:15)
- Exercise his spiritual gifts in teaching, preaching, and communicating the Word of God. (Titus 2)
- Zealously commit to developing and multiplying laborers (leaders) for the Harvest. (Luke 10:2)
- Cast vision, both short and long term, for the church and develop a plan for implementation, in conjunction
- Prepare preaching schedule for the year and pastoral reports for the monthly Board of Deacons meetings.
- Oversee the administration and management of church personnel and operations.
- Conduct new member and baptism classes, baptisms, weddings, funerals, pastoral care, and other ministry duties.
