Campus Safety Officer

Christian Brothers University-Campus Safety Officerand#10;and#10;Position Summary:and#10;Responsible for monitoring all vehicle and pedestrian traffic entering or leaving the campus. Ensures the safety and security of all personnel, students, guests, and facilities on campus. The entrance attendant is responsible for greeting people on the telephone and in person. Employees in this position may require holiday, weekend, evening, or overnight work. May be required to work special details or additional hours as needed. and#10;Duties and Responsibilities:and#10;Answer the telephone and pass on information to the officers on duty.and#10;Control the access of vehicles to the campus.and#10;Complete appropriate logs and paperwork.and#10;Provide directions and informational services as requested.and#10;Dispatch Campus Police/Safety personnel as required. and#10;Present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, including wearing a proper uniform or approved attire with neat and clean grooming. and#10;Facilitate emergency services requested by the On Duty Supervisor or Senior Campus Police Officer.and#10;Other related duties as assigned by the On-Duty Supervisorand#10;and#10;and#10;Requirements:and#10;and#10;High School Diploma or equivalent,and#10;Excellent communication, interpersonal and team skills, confidentiality and reliability.and#10;No felony convictions.and#10;Ability to remain calm under stressful conditions.and#10;Able to pass a background check.and#10;Possess or be able to obtain a Tennessee security officer licenseand#10;Valid Driver's Licenseand#10;and#10;and#10;Additional Information:and#10;and#10;Christian Brothers University is a Catholic university in the student-centered tradition of the De La Salle Christian Brothers.
