Based in Tarrytown, NY, Christian Brothers Consulting Solutions is seeking a highly skilled, full-time Accountant to join our team of financial management consultants.

Specific Responsibilities

· This position will provide onsite financial management to our established clients located in the Hartford and New Britain CT areas as well as other client sites.

· Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and balance sheets;

· Preparation of financial statements;

· Assist with audit preparation;

· Assist with preparation of budget and monitor on an ongoing basis;

· Process and/or oversee payroll, including periodic tax filings;

· Function as a resource to clients and/or other staff;

· Execute other accounting duties to meet client needs.

Qualifications

· B.A. Accounting or related field

· 3 years’ accounting experience

· Payroll experience preferred

· Advanced knowledge of GAAP

· Strong financial analysis skills

· Expert in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, including Excel

· Must be detail oriented, analytical and possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal

· Ability to collaborate effectively with all stakeholders

· Experience in a not-for-profit setting preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
