Job Title: Automotive Technician / Mechanic
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for providing exceptional service to our guests, while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair vehicles using knowledge and skills to meet high-quality standards
- Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across various domestic and foreign vehicles
- Complete accurate and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
- Work collaboratively with the service department to troubleshoot guest concerns effectively
- Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
Qualifications:
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests
- At least 3 years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic required
- Master L1 A level Tech preferred
- Formal experience in an automotive technician role preferred
- ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve
- Ability to diagnose and repair all makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Capacity to work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Necessary dexterity to efficiently use hand tools
- Ability to walk/stand for the majority of the workday
- Efficiently navigate a computer
