PAY RATE: $20.92 Hourly (Pay is negotiable based on experience)

Summary:
Develops and fosters relationships with community agencies. Assists with recruiting and training volunteers (short-term, one year, and community volunteers). Serves as liaison with CAP Philanthropy and Communications to promote Hunger Walk and Hunger Awareness. Assists the Manager in the daily operations of the Eagle Food Pantry.
Essential Job Functions:
- Serves as an assistant and provides technical support to the manager. Coordinates day to day operations of the Eagle Food Pantry. This includes overseeing daily assignments, creating and analyzing reports, maintaining pantry and participant records and ensuring compliance with USDA guidelines. 50%
- Assists manager in the fiscal operations. Primarily responsible for purchasing product, maintaining inventory and tracking GIK donations. Assists in the fundraising and marketing of the Eagle Food Pantry. Responsible for planning and executing the annual Hunger Walk, food drives, and participant education. 40%
- Assists manager and the volunteer program with recruiting, training and leading volunteers for the Eagle Food Pantry (Community, short-term, and long-term. Individuals and groups.) Develops and fosters relationships with community agencies, vendors and donors. Serves as a liaison to McCreary School District’s backpack programs, other McCreary food pantries and CAP food pantries. 10%

Qualifications:Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
18 Months of Additional Training in Related Field Required
Years of Experience:
4 or more years of successful experience in related field or combination of education and experience
Certifications and Licensure:
Possess a Valid Kentucky Driver's License and Maintain a Safe Driving Record Required
CAP Driving Certification* (or ability to obtain within first 90 days) Required
*In order to drive personal vehicle on CAP business, must obtain and maintain a policy of motor vehicle insurance coverage on privately-owned vehicle with insurance coverage amounts of $50,000 bodily injury per person per accident; $100,000 bodily injury for all bodily injuries per accident; and $50,000 property damage per accident.
