What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admissions Coordinator position at Christian Academy School System?
This key full-time year-round person will serve as the Admissions Department point of contact for prospective families in several manners. This includes face-to-face tours, telephone, and email interaction, open houses and specific school events and community events for prospective families. This role will primarily serve families of prospective middle and high school students.
Qualifications
The candidate shall possess characteristics that reflect the following:
- A strong clear Christian testimony with a mature and godly spirit
- A daily example of the highest Christian virtue both in and out of school
- Commitment to faithful attendance and support of a church whose beliefs are in agreement with the Statement of Faith
- Agreement and belief that the Bible is the final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind
The candidate shall possess:
- Bachelor's degree preferred. Three years of related experience in admissions is strongly preferred.
- Outstanding communication skills - verbal and written
- Ability to maintain complete confidentiality
- Extensive knowledge of Google Workspace and the ability to learn and support various systems
- Team-oriented, with excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills
Accountabilities/Responsibilities
- Communicate Christian Academy’s Mission and Statement of Faith clearly, accurately and compassionately to all prospective families
- Customize and conduct campus tours based on prospective families' individual circumstances
- Assist families through the entire admissions process, inquiry to enrollment
- Maintain inquiry, applicant and enrollment data and conduct follow-up processes
- Administer the admissions assessment process for applicants
- Participate in recruitment events
- Manage shadow experiences for prospective students
- Recruit and train student ambassadors
- Prepare and maintain enrollment data and generate reports as needed
- Maintain student records with confidentiality
This position reports to the Director of Enrollment & Marketing.
