JOB SUMMARY:
The Christ Fellowship Kids Dream Team and Midweek Discipleship Coordinator supports the Kids Ministry by ensuring the effective implementation of the volunteer onboarding process and Kids midweek programming at the Christ Fellowship Español Campus.
JOB DUTIES:
- Driving the volunteer onboarding process in accordance with Central objectives, procedures, and philosophy, including our SERVE strategy.
- Coordinating and helping implement volunteer recruiting training and appreciation strategies and initiatives.
- Supporting Area Coordinators as they build their Dream Teams (volunteer teams).
- Overseeing midweek Kids discipleship initiatives, including the execution of curriculum, small groups, and engaging activities in accordance with Central Kids objectives, philosophy, and processes.
- Supporting the supervision of midweek programming, including onboarding, equipping, and scheduling of the Kids Care Providers, and recruiting for the Kids Dream Team (volunteer team).
- Ensuring families experience a midweek ministry full of faith, family, and fun!
- Providing vision, oversight, and accountability to midweek staff and Dream Team (volunteers).
- Fulfilling administrative duties as requested by the campus Kids Director.
- Assisting in the planning and execution of Kids ministry events.
- Attending weekly staff meetings and department meetings as directed.
EDUCATION:
College graduate or degree in progress.
RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Experienced with 1 year in a kids’ ministry environment, either as staff or volunteer.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred
JOB SPECS:
Classification: Full-time, Salary (Exempt), including weekends and some nights.
Reporting to: Kids Director at the Christ Fellowship Español Campus.
