About the Role
We’re seeking a get-it-done, highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our Shawano team. This position plays a vital role in coordinating daily operations, supporting company leadership, and maintaining efficient office systems. The ideal candidate is dependable, resourceful, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations including bookkeeping, general administration, benefits administration, human resources and supply management.
- Maintain organized company files, records, and databases with confidentiality.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and internal communications for management.
- Support leadership with scheduling, project tracking, and vendor coordination.
- Oversee office maintenance, insurance renewals, and compliance documentation.
- Provide administrative support for management meetings and company events.
- Enter and track invoices, expenses, account receivable and payments using QuickBooks.
- Assist with payroll preparation, employee reimbursements, and financial reporting.
- Coordinate with external accountants for year-end reporting and audits.
- Maintain organized financial records and assist with general office budgeting.
- Administer new hire onboarding, including paperwork, background checks, and setup.
- Maintain employee records, benefits enrollments, and HR compliance files.
- Track employee attendance, vacation, and performance review schedules.
- Assist management with job postings, applicant tracking, and interview coordination.
- Support employee communications, safety training, and engagement programs.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions related to payroll, benefits, and policies.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- 3 years of experience in office management or related administrative role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Experience in manufacturing, printing, or service-based businesses a plus.
