Christensen Printing Partners is growing and hiring a full-time position for Inserting, Bindery, and Machine Operator on all shifts. Monday – Friday and occasional weekends.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Stacking newspaper bundles and inserts onto pallets.
- Wrapping newspaper bundles and inserts onto pallets.
- Strapping and moving pallets with a pallet jack.
- Regular and reliable attendance is a necessary element for this job.
- Overtime is required on some shifts.
- Responsible for accuracy, thoroughness & reliability.
- Need to be able to handle multiple tasks and to be flexible in a changing environment.
- Responsible for learning safety procedures.
- Mechanical skills are helpful
- Forklift operation helpful
- Mailroom experience is a plus
- Ensure all paperwork is complete and correct
- Maintain departmental housekeeping standards, machine areas maintain clear of debris, floors swept and mopped, machines cleaned, etc.
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Physically capable of lifting to 50lbs
- Physically capable of bending, kneeling, standing / walking on cement floors for long periods of time
- Other duties as assigned.
