Overview
Christensen Family Orthodontics is looking for an experienced orthodontic professional to help lead our team and support the daily operations of our growing practice. This role combines clinical support with leadership and operational responsibilities.
The ideal candidate has orthodontic experience, enjoys helping teams succeed, and is comfortable stepping into both clinical and administrative situations when needed.
This position works closely with the doctor and leadership team to help ensure the office runs smoothly, the team is supported, and patients have an excellent experience.
This role is ideal for an experienced orthodontic assistant who is ready to grow into a leadership position.
Duties
- Serve as a leadership resource for the team and the first point of contact for staff questions, concerns, or conflicts
- Jump into the clinic as needed to support patient flow or assist when team members are absent
- Support the front desk with scheduling challenges, patient concerns, or difficult situations
- Help enforce office policies and maintain a positive and accountable team culture
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new team members
- Develop and maintain structured training systems and checklists for team members in collaboration with leadership
- Help maintain accurate records and workflows within Ortho2 Edge
- Track operational metrics and assist with employee scorecards and performance tracking
- Manage staff schedules and PTO requests to ensure adequate coverage
- Review time punches and payroll discrepancies
- Coordinate staff meetings and help follow up on action items
- Help coordinate staff birthdays, work anniversaries, and team recognition
- Help ensure the daily operations of the practice run smoothly so issues do not always escalate to the doctor
Requirements
- Orthodontic experience required
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Comfortable addressing team issues and helping maintain accountability
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Positive attitude and team-focused mindset
- Ability to step into both clinical and administrative roles when needed
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Experience:
- Orthodontics: 3 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Registered Dental Assistant (Required)
