Position Summary

The Paint Technician will be responsible for mixing primers and paint, preparing surfaces, and applying coating to products and touch-ups as needed. Additional responsibilities include sanding, masking, filler application, and post-paint clean up. On the job training is provided.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain order and cleanliness of production work areas, ensuring that all supplies, materials, and tools are returned to their designated locations throughout the day.
• Able to learn to paint and prime our legacy stock line of products, clear coat FFT stocks, and sponge FFT stocks.
• Priming stocks
• Booth cleanup and maintenance.
• Care and maintenance of paint systems.
• Always work in a safe manner – consistent with Christensen Arms policies and procedures. Always correct an unsafe situation or report it to the supervisor. Always wear the required personal protective equipment.
• Maintain a positive attitude and strive to improve / learn new things every day.
• Understand and adhere to all policies and procedures resulting in quality parts.
• Understand and adhere to all environmental health and safety guidelines including all safety policies and posted signs.
• Complete production records, work orders and area logs as work is completed.
