JOB TITLE: Youth Director

REPORTS TO: Lead and Teaching Pastor
POSITION SUMMARY:
To serve as the Youth Director for Christ Wesleyan Church (CWC) fulfilling responsibilities to serve middle and high school students and their families in these designated areas:
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serves as visionary leader for youth ministry (middle and high school students) discipleship and leadership.
- Leads the planning and implementation of a weekly experience for students that gathers for connection, time in God’s Word, but also has fun, food and conversations around tables that lead to loving and serving our community.
- Assists with planning and implementation for youth camps, conferences and retreats
- Develops community engagement strategy that affirms current partnerships and builds new ones with schools, parachurches and non-profits.
- Embodies the vision of CWC and executes its mission, vision & values in our context.
- Participates in some CWC regular functions: monthly prayer gatherings, weekly prayerhuddles, bi-monthly meetings with Lead Pastor, bi-monthly meetings with the CWCteam and 1-2 retreats each year.
- Become an official member of CWC and consistent giver
- Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:-Bachelor’s degree Preferred
-Minimum 5 years of experience in church leadership, youth ministry and/or a non-profit
Salary Compensation: $12,000 per year (8-10 hrs. a week, some weeknights and weekends)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12,000.00 per year
