Part-Time Receptionist
Christ the King Manor – DuBois, PA
Christ the King Manor is seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Part-Time Receptionist to join our team. Become part of a compassionate organization dedicated to providing exceptional care and service to our residents and families throughout the region. The Receptionist serves as the welcoming face and voice of our facility while supporting daily administrative operations.
This position is scheduled for 8–16 hours per week, includes every other weekend, and offers a flexible rotating schedule. This is a great opportunity for a High School Student or Retirees.
Position Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Reception & Switchboard Duties
- Operate the main switchboard and answer incoming calls promptly and courteously
- Direct calls to appropriate departments or staff members
- Page individuals as necessary
- Transfer calls and assist with conference calls
- Maintain awareness of staff locations within the facility
- Take and deliver messages accurately and promptly
- Report phone service interruptions to appropriate personnel
Visitor Services
- Greet residents, visitors, and guests in a pleasant and professional manner
- Direct visitors to resident rooms, departments, or staff members
- Provide general information regarding the facility
- Assist in training and orienting new Receptionists
Administrative Support
- Record daily census statistics and prepare monthly summaries
- Type letters, reports, and correspondence as assigned
- File documents, reports, and related materials
- Open designated doors each morning and announce doors when alarms sound
- Provide additional clerical and administrative support as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous receptionist, customer service, or office experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional telephone etiquette and customer service skills
- Basic computer and clerical skills required
- Dependable attendance and flexibility with scheduling
