What are the responsibilities and job description for the Organist position at Christ the King Lutheran Church?

Christ the King Lutheran Church, an Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) congregation of 1,300 members, is looking for a part-time organist for its traditional services. Position includes playing two services on Sunday morning, accompanying the chancel choir and/or soloists, playing for midweek services and attending choir rehearsals on Wednesday evening for a total commitment of 10-15 hours per week. Play for occasional funerals. Hybrid organ built in 2018; pay commensurate with experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
