Summary of Duties
The Worship Coordinator at the Blaine campus provides musical, organizational, and personal leadership to the volunteers in the worship ministry of CTK Blaine.
Essential Functions
- Plan, prep, rehearse, and lead worship sets for Sunday services and empower at least two capable leaders to do so in your absence.
- Develop volunteers and potential leaders in areas of spiritual maturity, musicianship, and community by means of relationship.
- Meet weekly with Campus Pastor to discuss/plan for the coming week’s service(s).
- Schedule and communicate with band members regarding Sunday morning and mid-week rehearsal using Planning Center Online.
- Actively learn from and network with the worship ministry leaders at main campus, (and/or other worship leader resources) through coaching, rehearsal observation, etc.
- Have a working knowledge of the setup and operation of the sound equipment.
- Coordinate proper set-up and tear-down of worship equipment with the Operations Director
- Foster the spiritual health of your volunteers through leading them in authentic Christian community.
Requirements
- Own CTK’s mission, vision, and values
- Experience leading worship in a context similar to Blaine
- Strong organizational and interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Sufficient musical knowledge and ability
- Proficient in various computer applications including google and microsoft suites
