This role is essential to creating a welcoming space where parents can engage in worship knowing their little ones are well cared for. Were looking for someone with a heart for serving families, patience and compassion for children, and a commitment to excellence in creating a positive experience for every child.Responsibilities includeCaring for children in care centers while ensuring a safe and nurturing environmentSupport all posted procedures.Arriving in the Care Center before the service or event (15-20 minutes please).Greeting each family as they arrive and ensure that children have been checked in.Taking diaper bags from parents, label them, and put them in the cubby area.Engaging children in age-appropriate play and organizing fun, interactive activities that foster a safe and enjoyable environment.Keeping track of time and ensure the flow of the morning is maintained.Completing all diaper changes and assist with bathroom usage or designate another adult to assist children.Cleaning up the Care Center after use; keep the area orderly, ensuring that all toys used in the Care Center have been collected and put back in place.Ensuring all surfaces that children have come in contact with and toys too large to be washed have been sprayed with Lysol spray or wiped down with Clorox wipes.Overseeing dismissal, verifying children are going to an approved adult. Share a special observation with their parent, if applicable.Communicating with CM Director as needed, and issues arise.Were excited to meet you!
