Preschool Teacher Aide

Schedule

Our school is open from 7:00 am to 5:45 pm, Monday through Friday. Multiple part-time positions are available. Schedules will be finalized based on need and individual availability.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher's Aide to join our preschool team. The ideal candidate builds trusting relationships with children, supports nurturing classroom environments, and approaches behavior management in ways that preserve and promote each child's dignity and self-worth. The Teacher's Aide will work closely with the Classroom Teacher, supporting a positive learning environment and helping students achieve classroom goals while promoting their social and emotional growth.

Responsibilities

• Foster relationships with students to encourage their personal growth and development.
• Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities.
• Support classroom behavior management.
• Promote a positive learning atmosphere.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to enhance student understanding of curriculum content.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents regarding student progress and needs.

Requirements

• Age 18
• Pass background check.
• Experience in childcare, preschool or other early education preferred.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents.
• Classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 19.5 per week
