In this role, you will support lead teachers in delivering engaging educational experiences that cater to the developmental needs of young children. Your contributions will be vital in creating a positive learning atmosphere that aligns with our school's mission. We teach and learn through play.
Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities.
- Support classroom management to create a safe and productive learning environment.
- Engage with students to promote their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Help maintain an organized and clean classroom space.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements
- Experience working with young children in an educational setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
- Familiarity with curriculum development processes is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A passion for early childhood education and nurturing children's growth.
- 12 college credit hours in education field or a CDA.
