Description
The Facilities Assistant will provide support for the care and upkeep of all church facilities and all approved church events including maintenance, cleaning, set-up, and repair activities. This is a full-time position and reports to the Facilities Director.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide support for facility repairs and maintenance.
- Ensure cleanliness and readiness of all rooms, restrooms, common areas, and sanctuary spaces.
- Maintenance of grounds relative to landscaping and accessibility (snow/salt).
- Support setup and teardown for CCC weekly services, ministry events, and staff events.
- Oversee building access and ensure facilities are properly secured at opening and closing.

- Able to work weekend or evenings.
- Ability to collaborate and connect relationally with people.
- Demonstrate the ability to adapt and learn with a strong work ethic.
- Committed to the mission and vision of Christ Community Chapel (CCC) and willing to become a church member.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing and walking throughout church facilities.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, climb, and crawl to maintain equipment and buildings.
- Must be able to perform work in a variety of weather conditions.
