PURPOSE:
The Worship and Communications Assistant (WCA) enhances the effectiveness of the Executive Director of Worship Arts & Communications by providing high-level administrative support – serving as a liaison with staff, volunteers, congregation and outside organizations and individuals. The WCA will offer support by performing administrative functions such as meeting and event scheduling and set-up, correspondence, administrative project management, and administrative support in various creative projects.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Administrative support to the Executive Director of Worship Arts & Communications to ensure that the strategic goals and objectives are accomplished
- Serve as a liaison to staff, volunteers, church members/attenders, community and vendors
- Field phone calls, inbox management, and take requests for meetings and assist with calendar organization, meeting planning, including invitations, scheduling, room and hospitality logistics
- Assist with correspondence and communications
- Project management of worship, online, and communication initiatives and special projects
- Administrative support and scheduling for online hosts
- Integration and maintaining of worship and communication planning calendar and documents

Qualifications
ADDITIONAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Prior experience as an Administrative Assistant, Event Planner, or Project Manager in a highly relational environment
- Some completed college courses preferred
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Outlook, and Excel Outlook
- Strong organizational, planning and time management skills
- Possess the desire and skill to collaborate
- Good emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
- High attention to details
- Comfortable with ambiguity and working on a variety of projects throughout a normal week
- Spiritual gifts of administration, service and hospitality
Salary : $58,000 - $67,000
