What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vending Route Driver position at Chris Vending Service?
Local vending business is looking for a reliable driver to stock and service machines across the DMV - mainly PG County and DC, with occasional service in Virginia and Baltimore areas.
This is a straightforward gig with real earning potential.
About 30 Hours/week, but flexible
✅ $21/hr to start — increase after 6 months
✅ Hourly pay — more runs = more money
✅ Flexible days, ~4 to 5 days/week. Up to 30 hours/week
✅ Must be available to start by 8 - 9 AM
✅ Weekly Cash Pay
What you'll do:
- Pick up pre-packed product from our warehouse
- Drive our company van to vending machine locations across the DMV
- Stock and service machines using hand trucks
- Handle cash collections from machines
- Use a tablet to update inventory levels and log notes at each location
- Return for additional loads as product becomes ready
- Help with pre-kitting (packing and prepping product) during slower periods
What we need from you:
- Valid license clean driving record
- Reliable — if you say you're coming, we need you there
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and comfortable using hand trucks
- Comfortable handling money
- Good customer service — you’ll be in locations with people around
- Comfortable with technology and ability to learn our app — used daily for inventory updates and location notes
- Background check required
