CNC Milling Machinist – Full time, hourly positions, Monday to Friday, 6:45am to 3:15pm (Flexible) Excellent Benefits, Bonus Potential!

SUMMARY: As a CNC Milling Machinist in a metals machining, and fabricating company you will be responsible for operating CNC milling machines to create precision metal parts according to specifications. Key responsibilities include setting up machines, conducting quality checks, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate small lifts, pallet jacks and other lifting equipment (training will be provided on our specific equipment, but basic skills are needed beforehand).
- Must be able to read and understand Blueprints and G-Code.
- Responsible for basic machining practices involved in turning, milling, drilling, threading operations.
- Read drawings and following instructions necessary to produce usable and sale-able parts.
- Hold tolerances as dictated by drawings, written instructions, or industry standards.
- Must be proficient with the use of, the care of, and the calibration of all types of measuring devices (i.e., micrometers [OD and ID], dial calipers, dial indicators, etc.).
- Must have and provide basic tools needed for the execution of the position of manual machinist.
- Maintain a safe working environment and a commitment to safety excellence.
- Responsible for understanding and complying with the safety policy, procedures, and instructions.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Monitor machine while working to adjust the feed, maintain temperature and identify issues.
- Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3-5 years experience setting up and operating CNC Milling machines.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Understanding geometric dimensions and tolerances.
- Experience using measuring tools and gages.
- Experience with Fanuc Controls.
- Experience with KOMO machines preferred.
- Basic math practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Basic verbal and written communication skills.
- Patience, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Ability to work within a team or independently.
OTHER:
- While performing the duties of this position, the employee will need to stand and walk for significant portions of the shift.
- Ability and willingness to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs., walk, climb, reach, kneel, crawl, and balance.
- Must be able to use hands for assembly and tool usage.
- Must not have allergies or issues related to handling metals including aluminum, copper, bronze, steel, and various plastics.
