Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces — scraping, sanding, patching, and priming
- Apply paint, stain, and coatings to interior and exterior surfaces
- Follow proper safety precautions according to OSHA regulations
- Protect furniture, trim, and landscaping with drop cloths and masking tape
- Clean and maintain brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and crew leads
Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in warm weather for extended periods
- Comfortable working at heights on ladders and rooftops
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Strong attention to detail and a pride in clean, quality work
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
- Punctual and dependable — consistent attendance is essential
