As a CNC Machinist Operator (Level 1), you will:
- Operate CNC machines to produce knife parts
- Use common machinist tools to measure and inspect parts
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine dimensional and finish tolerances on parts
- Measure and analyze production parts frequently to ensure quality
- Maintain offsets for part & machine to Maintain quality and tolerances
- Properly fill out required paperwork
- Meet time and schedule standards for assigned work
- Perform non-Operator tasks when necessary
- Manage material inventory and work orders in your area
- Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures
- Adhere to standard work schedule and promptly communicate when time off is required
- Perform daily and weekly maintenance and cleaning on equipment
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with machine tools for drilling, milling, and grinding
- Math skills and ability to understand geometry and decimal places
- Attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Organizational skills, time management, and strong work ethic
- Communication skills and confidence in receiving feedback
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Previous machining experience or machining technology education
- NC-Code / G-Code Knowledge
- Experience Operating CNC equipment (mills or lathes)
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift more than 50 pounds.
- Stand and walk for 10 hours a day.
Pre-employment checks:

- A background check may be conducted.
Work Schedule:
Machine shop shift: Four ten-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday - Thursday with breaks and lunch.
Base Wage:
Our starting wage begins at $18-$24 per hour DOE for an Operator and increases depending on performance.
