RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Manage and coordinate crews on multiple projects as assigned
Maintain a safe work environment
Assess and evaluate competency and capabilities of each crew member daily to ensure crew meets required levels of work quality
Relate specific instructions and direction to plumber(s) and assign plumbers to specific tasks while supervising activities, assist in layout, fabrication and assembly problems
Attend meetings associated with personnel and assigned projects
Complete all on-site documentation and coordinate schedules: inform the crew of work schedules, compile and verify checklists, safety sign-offs, work orders, and other relevant documentation to ensure quality job completion
Address absenteeism issues by referencing the Attendance Activity Calendar with the Payroll office. Document and distribute Disciplinary Actions to personnel as required by Attendance Policy.
EMAIL a COMPLETE list of materials DAILY to the Purchasing/Warehouse Manager for all materials to be ordered and/or returned
Communicate price changes and/or change orders(s) to the Project Manager
Perform all quality control measures which includes testing/checking rough-in dimensions and installation practices to ensure customer satisfaction
Regularly coordinate the assignment of apprentices to work with journeymen to facilitate mentoring and on the job training
Identify other training needs requirements and facilitate delivery of that training with the Field Supervisor
Set and maintain work standards and outline behavioral expectations to ensure crew morale and productivity
Promote, support and facilitate teamwork and harmony of crews by fostering positive teamwork attitude
Ensure new crew team members are oriented to the job while training and developing crew team members to high work delivery standards as outlined on the weekly Foreman Assessment Evaluation form
Perform other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Foreman Plumbing trade experience required
Hands-on experience as a qualified and competent plumber who is familiar with other construction trades and crafts
Experience managing other employees required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Required to wear protection equipment such as hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, safety shoes, high visibility vest and other items as required
Frequent moderate lifting, repetitive motion, bending, walking, climbing ladders, and working from heights
Occasional heavy lifting, kneeling, stooping, and crouching
Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures, precipitation, confined spaces, loud conditions, heights and other environments
The Foreman may be called out by the Field Supervisor at odd hours or have to work long hours in cases of emergency maintenance and repairs
Wage Range: $45 an hour. Compensation based on knowledge and experience.
Salary : $45
