Cancellations Clerk
We are seeking an experienced Dealership Cancellations Clerk to work in our Central Office.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing: Handling cancellations of F&I (Finance and Insurance) products, GAP, and service contracts.
- Refunds & Accounting: Calculating accurate prorated refunds, posting cancellations to the Dealership Management System (DMS), and coordinating with the accounting department for refund checks.
- Vendor Communication: Submitting cancellation requests to vendors and tracking their status.
- Documentation: Maintaining detailed, compliant records of all canceled contracts.
- Customer Support: Resolving customer inquiries regarding cancellations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Experience in accounting or automotive dealership office work is preferred.
- Skills: Strong data entry skills, attention to detail, proficiency in MS Office or DMS software, and knowledge of, or ability to learn, warranty policies.
- Attributes: Good communication skills and the ability to work with lenders and customers.
