Responsibilities:
- Capture and preserve the verbatim record for depositions, hearings, EUOs, trials, and other proceedings.
- Monitor audio quality, exhibits, and participants throughout proceedings.
- Maintain professionalism and client-friendly communication with attorneys and staff.
- Handle remote platforms (Zoom, Teams, Webex) and in-person setups with confidence.
- Manage and deliver clear, accurate notes or log sheets.
- Coordinate with transcription teams, schedulers, and agency staff as needed
Requirements:
- CER and/or CDR certification (required)
- 2 years of digital court reporting experience
- Ability to take on a wide range of case types.
- Must have personal equipment (laptop, multichannel recording software, high-quality mics/headsets, backup devices)
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills for remote proceedings
- Reliable internet connection for virtual assignments
- Professional demeanor and strong client service skills
- Reliable transportation for in-person cases
