Customer Service Representative/Sales Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team! Finally, a large part of this position is selling insurance products from multiple lines.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and maintain Property and Casualty and LIfe and Health Insurance licenses for the state of VA.
• Meet weekly/monthly sales goals.
• Be a self starter and able to generate sales leads independently
• Handle incoming calls using multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring each caller feels valued and heard
• Assist clients with inquiries, product information, and service requests via phone, email, or in person
• Maintain accurate records through data entry and management of client information using spreadsheets and productivity software like Microsoft Office
• Support office management tasks such as filing, calendar management, and document proofreading to keep operations running smoothly
• Utilize computer skills to navigate various software platforms including QuickBooks for billing or invoicing purposes
• Manage front desk duties including greeting visitors, answering questions, and directing them appropriately
• Collaborate with team members to improve customer support processes and enhance overall client communication efforts

Skills

• Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with spreadsheets and data entry tasks
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, capable of managing multi-line phone systems efficiently
• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client needs effectively
• Previous office management or administrative experience is preferred, including calendar management and filing systems
• Technical proficiency with customer support tools such as QuickBooks or other productivity software is a plus
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated clerical experience including typing, proofreading, and document processing to ensure accuracy and professionalism

Job Types: Full-time, Commission

Pay: $3,000.00 - $3,800.00 per month
