What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager - Engineer position at CHR CORP?
The Project Manager - Engineer is ultimately responsible for the successful execution of M&G Real Estate projects. All projects are directed by the Project Manager – Engineer and the Project Manager – Engineer is the principal administrator and communicator between the contractor, consultants and regulatory agencies and is authorized to speak on Rutter’s behalf.
Responsibilities
- Manage a wide range of commercial projects from beginning to end.•Must have knowledge of state and local development and permitting processes.
- Manage external engineers, designers, and drafters.
- Work with internal engineers, designers, and drafters.
- Utilize business acumen to make decisions on projects.
- Monitor project status, and communicate to stakeholders.
- Understanding of construction management.
- Manage budgets.
- Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety, etc. and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required.
- Utilize knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D to assist with projects based on business demands.
Preferred Education and Experience
- BS/MA in Civil Engineering.
- Current P.E. required and maintained as required.
- Minimum of 10 years of project management experience in Civil Engineering.
- Proficient in AutoCAD (Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis 2020, Civil 3D 2020 Metric, Civil 3D 2020 Imperial)
- Experience in multiple stage development, feasibility studies, schematic development, environmental (NEPA),design, (PS&E), and right-of-way acquisition is desired.
- Project management and supervision skills is required with mid to senior level management experience preferred.
