Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of personal care techniques and resident safety.
- Ability to pass background checks and health screenings as required by the facility.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a care team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in assisted living, long-term care, or a similar healthcare setting.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Additional training or certification in care or other specialized resident needs.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living.
- Monitor and report any changes in residents’ health or behavior to staff promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for residents.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, encouraging social interaction and engagement.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensuring dietary requirements are met.
