About the Role:

The Assisted Living Aide at Rivers Bend RC Asst Living plays a vital role in supporting the daily living needs of residents in a compassionate and respectful manner. This position focuses on enhancing the quality of life for elderly or disabled individuals by providing personal care, assistance with mobility, and ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment. The aide collaborates closely with healthcare professionals and family members to monitor residents' well-being and respond promptly to any changes in their condition. Through attentive care and effective communication, the aide helps foster a supportive community atmosphere that promotes dignity and independence. Ultimately, this role is essential in delivering personalized care that meets both the physical and emotional needs of each resident.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of personal care techniques and resident safety.
• Ability to pass background checks and health screenings as required by the facility.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a care team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in assisted living, long-term care, or a similar healthcare setting.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid.
• Additional training or certification in care or other specialized resident needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Monitor and report any changes in residents’ health or behavior to staff promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for residents.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, encouraging social interaction and engagement.
• Assist with meal preparation and ensuring dietary requirements are met.
• Document care provided and maintained accurate records in compliance with facility policies.
• Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures to protect residents and staff.
